What the application does
The portal receives incoming WhatsApp webhook events, stores selected message fields in Postgres, and displays operational state to an authenticated operator. It currently serves a personal/test WhatsApp Cloud API setup using Meta test numbers and test recipients.
How the current flow works
- Meta delivers incoming events to our webhook callback.
- The server parses messages, commits them to the database, and safely ignores duplicate deliveries.
- An authorized operator signs in to inspect received messages, observed assets, and system health.
What is being prepared
The connection page is an integration point for future Meta Embedded Signup. The actual signup, business-asset authorization, and WhatsApp Business App Coexistence procedures have not been implemented. Configuration alone is not proof of a connected business.
Deliberately receive-only
The application has no outbound messaging, campaigns, broadcasts, automatic replies, or payment/order interpretation. It is a technical operations console, not a marketing platform.
